How to use:

Using fingertips, apply 3 to 4 drops of the essence on cleansed face, neck and eye area. Gently massage it in. Follow with Zacoli Organic High Potency Active Botanical Anti Aging Serum. Use once daily in the evening.

Hyaluronic Acid, a naturally-occurring substance in skin known for its amazing capacity to attract and hold onto 1000x its weight in moisture. This amazing and unique property helps boost skin hydration and is especially beneficial for dry and dehydrated skin. Hyaluronic acid also revitalises skin’s outer surface layers, making it soft and supple. This instantly improves the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Over time, routine use of Hyaluronic Acid in skincare replenishes the skin to enhance a healthy, supple look and feel.

Fermented Babchi Seed extract, a natural botanical alternative to retinol. Retinol is a synthetic form of vitamin A. Despite its famous anti aging properties, retinol is often not very well tolerated by the skin. Babchi however is 100% natural and is therefore very well tolerated by the skin, making it suitable for even the most sensitive skin. Bakuchiol is an ingredient derived from Babchi plant. Bakuchiol has been shown to function similar to retinol inheriting all the same anti aging properties, increasing cell turnover thereby stimulating collagen production and diminishing signs of aging such as fine lines, wrinkles, skin laxity, and overall photo-damage. A truly amazing and potent anti aging ingredient.

Fermented Matcha Green Tea extract, an antioxidant powerhouse, which protects the skin from free radicals caused by environmental stresses, such as UV radiation and pollution. Rich in chlorophyll which helps fight signs of aging, boost skin elasticity and improve skin suppleness. Reduces excess sebum and soothes the skin due to its anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties. As a bonus, matcha geen tea is also filled with polyphenols which are well known for their ability to reduce inflammation, fight off bacteria. This is especially beneficial for anyone prone to blemishes, or with sensitive skin because matcha green tea, when applied topically may help reduce irritation. The caffein present in the matcha green tea, is also highly effective at reducing puffiness and dark circles around the eyes and sooth the skin.

Fermented Hibiscus extract, deeply nourishing for the skin with rich source of vitamin C, other vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. The malic acid in hibiscus is key in maintaining the clean, clear, healthy and youthful skin. It is rich in AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) which helps boost collagen production and increase the elasticity of the skin. The mucilage content helps to keep the skin hydrated for a longer period of time, making hibiscus an amazing moisturising ingredient. Hibiscus is also known to inhibit the activity of the enzyme elastase, which is responsible for breaking down elastin, tighten up the skin and firming the connective tissues, thereby effectively reducing appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. This makes hibiscus an amazing anti aging ingredient.

MSM, a naturally-occurring form of sulfur which plays a key role in the production of collagen and keratin. MSM makes skin cell walls more permeable and this allows nutrients to enter and toxins to exit. In turn new skin cells are healthier and reproduce more healthy cells, thus improving the condition of the skin and the appearance of lines and wrinkles is greatly reduced. A 1998 study has shown when MSM is used in skincare, scar tissue is greatly improved. MSM helps prevent the cross linking of collagen, the major cause of scarring, and can even reduce appearance of old scars.
