Hero ingredients explained…

Collagen peptides (hydrolysed collagen) are well-known for their roles in skin health.

Collagen supports connective tissues, provides strength and elasticity to the skin and enables cell renewal. A study conducted on 69 women exposed to collagen daily revealed significant improvement in skin elasticity as opposed to a group of women who did not.

Benefits of collagen peptides in skincare are;

– Build a healthier and stronger skin barrier

– Stimulate collagen and elastin production to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and plumper looking skin

– Improve skin elasticity and firmness

– Increase skin hydration and moisturisation

– Studies show collagen peptides support overall skin smoothness and hydration.

Fortified with three active anti-aging herb extracts;

Ginkgo Biloba an ancient plant that is known to improve blood flow and protect the skin from damage reducing inflammation and redness caused by the harmful effects of exposure to UVA/UVB rays.

Study revealed the antimicrobial effects of ginkgo biloba leaf extract where bacteria, actinomycetes, and fungi were sensitive to and could not thrive in the environment.

The amazing functions of ginkgo biloba in skincare are;

– Reduce fine lines and wrinkles

– Increases collagen production

– Reduce the swelling of capillaries,

– Improve your skin’s regenerative abilities

– Speeding up the healing process, and reducing appearance of scars and other marks on the skin.

Chlorophyll

Nettle extract, when applied on the skin, protect and remineralise the skin. Thanks to the silicium and magnesium in nettles, nettle leaf extract supports flawless skin. Nettle leaf extract also acts as natural astringent which tightens the skin, regulates sebum production, and combats acne.

Nettles also have analgesic, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, antiviral, anti-histamine, anti-rheumatic properties, they have been shown to be a natural treatment for eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions.

No wonder nettles are such a popular ingredient in skincare.

Lavender has been a highly popular ingredient in skincare, known to improve the circulation by adding oxygen to the skin cells which boost energy and promote new cell growth, giving your skin a healthy youthful glow.

Lavender is rich in antioxidants that nourish your skin and scavenges the free radicals from pollutants that can cause skin damage. Lavender is also known to help equalize the skin’s pH balance, moisturizes and supporting supple and healthy-looking skin.

Preliminary test results also show lavender’s incredible promise for lavender for battling bacteria, repairing skin and clean out the spores. The anti-inflammatory property in lavender is especially beneficial for inflammatory skin conditions, with the potential ability to calm the skin.

Aloe Vera Leaf Juice is especially popular in skincare for dry, damaged, sensitive and irritated skin. Aloe vera has abundant vitamins and minerals including antioxidant vitamin A, C, and E with Vitamin B12, folic acid, and choline and it is the source of essential minerals such as copper, selenium, manganese, magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, and zinc.
