REACH OUT

During this time of crisis, where the world is heading into the unknowns my thoughts and heart go to the people who are more vulnerable;

👉ones who are already facing challenges in their lives,

👉ones who face existing illnesses,

👉ones who live paycheck to paycheck,

👉single parents who’s juggling working from home and looking after the kids,

👉ones who have lost their job,

👉ones who are about to lose their job,

👉ones who have many mouths to feed,

👉ones who don’t have the means to stock up of food for themselves,

👉ones who don’t have family and friends around,

And most importantly,

👉the elderly.

My only advice to all of us, is to look out to these people around you.

❤Seek them out.

❤Check in on them.

❤Lend them a helping hand.

❤Call them. Speak to them.

❤Leave them a note.

❤Let them know you are here for them.

👉And if you happen to be the one in need of help, 🎈REACH OUT🎈 also, for help. No one knows your need if you don’t.

If each of us REACH OUT to just one person who is in need of help, we will all be in a better place.

Today I reached out to our old elderly neighbors to check in on them. We haven’t spoken for over a year. Through the phone call, I found out that the husband recently had a stroke and is in rehab. The elderly wife, probably around 87 years old had to drive herself to the rehab center daily (30 mins drive each way) to visit and look after the husband. She has had little help from the others. I felt so guilty that we have been so wrapped up in our own little world, we forgot to keep in touch even the people who are dearest to us. Never again! We will be there for them tomorrow… And I’m grateful that we are given this opportunity to be able to lend them a helping hand…❤

For it is more Blessed to Give Than to Receive.. ❤

God bless us all. ❤

Please share the love.
