About Us

Today is the last day of 2020. What a year it has been! Wasn't easy for sure, for everyone. For us, it is a year where big decisions were made. It is a year with big turning point for us. We packed up our comfortable life in Melbourne, said goodbye to our friends and family and left our beautiful home we've only just finished building 2.5 years ago and moved to a place we've never been, a house we've never seen in real life and not knowing anyone here when we first arrived. It was not an easy decision but we know it is probably one of the best decisions we've ever made, for us and for our little ones. Moving here to Mid Coast NSW is the continuation of our journey back to health. As living simply, sustainably

When I was studying for my Diploma in Organic Skincare Formulation, one of the key topics is preservation and the importance of preservation of the skincare products.Products that are not properly preserved can pose significant health risk to the customers. Anytime a product contains water content, a proper preservation must be in place. However it is not always a straightforward science to preserve skincare products, it will need to depend on the water content, the temperature, the ingredients and the environment. One thing for sure however is that clay is very a hard ingredient to preserve once activated with water i.e. when turned into mud. And it is almost impossible to preserve mud with natural preservatives. Any mud mask you buy in the market that is already pre-made i.e. in mud form (not dry powder) will need to be preserved with

During this time of crisis, where the world is heading into the unknowns my thoughts and heart go to the people who are more vulnerable; 👉ones who are already facing challenges in their lives, 👉ones who face existing illnesses, 👉ones who live paycheck to paycheck, 👉single parents who's juggling working from home and looking after the kids, 👉ones who have lost their job, 👉ones who are about to lose their job, 👉ones who have many mouths to feed, 👉ones who don't have the means to stock up of food for themselves, 👉ones who don't have family and friends around, And most importantly, 👉the elderly. My only advice to all of us, is to look out to these people around you. ❤Seek them out. ❤Check in on them. ❤Lend them a helping hand. ❤Call them. Speak to them. ❤Leave them a note. ❤Let them know you are

I feel really blessed  to have learnt so much about ferments and herbs in the last two years from my amazing naturopath and have since experienced first hand the healing from both. Two years ago, our health hit rock bottom. We were constantly sick, and at one point, I was sick for 6 months with no relief. We didn't know much about ferments and herbs at the time and didn't know how to support our weakened immune system to fight diseases. So we just suffered through it all

As part of the Sustainable Living Certificate course I'm doing, I am currently learning about BEES, native bees in particular. ❤ Native bees are amazing pollinators, way way better than the European honey bees. And due to the loss of habitat, and being in competition with the European honey bees, the population of our native bees have plummeted significantly. Native bees thrive in the native environment, native plants with flowers are best for them. And the good news is, each of us can contribute to helping our native bees regain their habitat and this is how.🍁 Plant some native flowering plants such as grevellea, bottle brush, native rosemary, native finger lime bush, hardenbergia, or any other bee loving flowering plants. Make sure to plant a diverse range.🍁 Make some simple native bee hives by drilling some holes in different sizes and depth

I had a breakthrough last week with my formulation. 🤗 Let me know what to think? Would you be interested? ❤ I'm formulating a gentle, nourishing, organic and 100% natural Facial Cleanser and Face and Eye Make up Remover. And I am loving it sooo much! ❤ It glides onto the skin beautifully, binding to the makeup and impurities on your face, and eye areas and as you add water to wash it away, it activates the natural emulsifier and turns it into beautiful silky milky lotion. And after drying, you are left with soft and supple skin. 🌿 I can't wait to show you a video of how it works. ❤ And the really amazing thing is that, you can also use it as a 🎈Massage Oil 🎈and leave it on your skin for deep moisturizing. It glides beautifully, and the oils I
